Committee on the texts of an important ethnologist on our national drink - beer. The basis of the committee consists of Zíbrt's book "From the history of beer and brewing", accompanied by other texts.

In the book we find interesting information about Czech hop and brewing tradition, which has been developing again in the last twenty years, as well as the art of Thanksgiving for the fruits of the Earth, the weight and the prestige of good craft and joke and love for the matter, manifested by the word (saying, saying) and singing (songs). Special positions in this tradition are set up by malting customs and festivities, sought after by our present, as they represent the counterweight to physical work and material care for hops and beer.
